What Are the Grading of Laser Safety Indicators?

Level 1: During normal operation, no harmful optical radiation will be produced.

Level 2: Its radiation range is in the visible spectral region, and the AEL is equivalent to a value of 0.25 seconds of exposure to the radiation of the first level product. Products at this level require additional warning markings for safety testing.

Level 3: 3A and 3B two levels. 3A for those with normal avoidance responses to bright light, will not cause harm to the naked eyes, but viewing with a lensed instrument can cause damage to the eyes. 3B includes 200nm to 1,000,000nm in the radiation range, if you look directly at it, it will cause accidental injury. The management and control are stricter than the level 2.

Level 4: AEL is above level 3, it will not only cause damage to the eyes, but also the skin, and even cause a fire. Such products are strictly managed and controlled.
